| Sediment & Erosion Control is rapidly becoming a part of the building/development process.
From large earthworks projects to small individual sites, the impact of silt contamination on waterways has been recognised by Regional Councils and the requirement for compliance is increasing. In the Auckland Region, guidelines for sediment and erosion control (TP10:1999) have been set by the Auckland Regional Council. Most regional councils are in the process
of creating similar documents. OAL staff regularly attend workshops and conferences relating to sediment and erosion control in order to maintain a high industry standard. |
